Cebu City is well-known as the capital city of the province of Cebu. Using the word UBEC in reverse of CEBU is a popular title used in social media when you visit Cebu City. Cebu City is the 2nd City most populous metropolitan area in the Philippines after metro manila.
Last October 20, 2012 we visited Cebu City, together with my brother to watch Jonas Brothers Concert Tour in Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City. In addition to our vacation, we also included the Sky Experience Adventure located at Tower 1, Crown Regency Hotel & Tower.

FIRST DAY – SKY EXPERIENCE ADVENTURE
Arrival time about 8:00 AM, we immediately check in @ Hotel Pier Cuatro is located at 3rd Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City. The moment we arrived at the hotel lobby they served us with drinks and check our online accommodation.
We were excited to test our fear of height. So by 10:00AM we are on our way to Tower 1, Crown Regency Hotel & Tower. We took the scenic elevator to the adventure level. Sky Ride tickets are also sold at the ticket counters of 37th and 38th Floors.
1. The Skywalk Extreme- You will experience a thrill through walking the edge of the building with an overhead safety harness @ 126.55 meters high above the street. It was frightening to watch the streets beneath; it feels like you are also going to fall with that elevation.
2. Tower Zip Go -The first zipline in our country to go across another building from Tower 1 to Tower 3 @ 473 ft. high. This is my first ride for zip line that crosses another building. For me this is a game for thrill seekers and ventures.
3. Edge Coaster – A unique ride at the top of the building and enjoyable. The Edge Coaster goes around the edge of the building while riders are locked onto a rail seat. High above at the 38th level, riders can indulge in a breathtaking view of the city and playfully pull a lever that can tilt their seats up to 55 degrees and see the view below at 130.84 meters.
4. Paramount Climbing Wall – Known as the World’s First Climbing Wall placed high atop a 40 story building, 468 feet from the ground. This 32 foot climbing wall is designed to as if you were climbing on a mountain, wind blowing by as you climb with a one of a kind view.
My brother adored the beautiful scenic view of Cebu City while at the top. They have a quote that says “Climb the Sky”; in reality you are really like climbing pathway to the sky. This is a good recommendation for wall climber enthusiasm.

SECOND DAY – JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT TOUR @ WATERFRONT CEBU

For our 2nd day, we transferred to another Hotel @ Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino; this is the venue of the Jonas Brothers Concert Tour. Our accommodation is just for one day and by tomorrow we are leaving Cebu City & again our mode of transportation to CDOC by 2GO Travel Shipping line. The hotel was huge and beautiful; and the location is a great advantage and easy access to cafes and restaurants around the I.T. PARK.
The Waterfront Hotel breakfast is so delicious. There are a lot of fruits, salads, bread and pastries, bacon, ham, egg, waffles and desserts. By Night their hotel lobby showcase a lively music band to entertain guest while enjoy their food and beer at the lounge.
